- He should Electrical safety experience in construction site.
- Must have hands on experience on green field / brown field projects
He is responsible for successfully implementing Electrical safety systems at project with support and coordination of all contractors and Project In charges
Key Role & Responsibility
- Implement Inspection program for electrical installation on coordination with various agency & implementation of statutory requirements as per acts and rules.
- Review SLD and power distribution scheme for site by various agencies to ensure compliance
- Implementation of specific LOTO system for the Project
- Review and approve cable laying and routing at site
- Provide necessary support to prepare electrical operations SOP
- Review the electrical permit and ensure implementation of LOTO at sites
- Implement Inspection program for safety protective devices. I.e RCCB, Earthing, with respect to electrical safety
- Review and ensure maintaining of equipment register for fixed and portable power tools.
- Implement colour coding system/ Fitness tags for electrical equipment’s
- Review the fire protection equipment requirement for site electrical installations (SDB and PDB) and ensure provision of same
- Inspection of Electrical PPE’s. Prepare training materials and Impart training for electricians
- Participate in management meeting and raise high severity points related to electrical safety observations
- Provide inputs to management on strengthening the electrical safety systems at site
- To prepare and submit weekly, Monthly MIS to Project manager
