The Role
We are looking for a Software Support Engineer who is passionate about technology, curious about how things work, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our cutting-edge digital pathology platforms for customers around the globe.
You'll act as a key technical liaison between our engineering team and end-users, helping medical professionals, lab technicians, and researchers effectively use Morphles software systems.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving software-related issues post-deployment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application, performance, and system problems.
Work closely with software, hardware, and QA teams to investigate complex issues.
Set up, monitor, and maintain deployed systems in lab and hospital environments.
Collect and analyze logs to identify patterns and recurring issues for long-term fixes.
Document support tickets, fixes, and create user-facing troubleshooting guides
Proactively communicate with customers to provide updates and gather feedback.
Ideal Candidate
2+ years in a technical support, DevOps, or software engineering role.
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.
Working knowledge of Python and scripting for automation or debugging.
Exposure to web frameworks (Django/Flask preferred) and RESTful APIs.
Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and patient approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
