- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Jenkins pipelines (bash, groovy) within GCP
- DevOps practices (Git, Git Flow and/or GitHub Flow)
- Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in system/ infrastructure design, operations.
- Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and techniques
- 2+ years of knowledge of programming languages: (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, Scala)
- Technical knowledge and breadth of technology services (Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI & Machine learning, BigQuery, DataFlow)
- Automation scripting (using scripting languages such as Terraform, Ansible etc.)
- Works collaboratively in an agile environment with DevOps application PODs
- Customer/stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams,
- Experience working with highly available/high-load web infrastructure e.g. web proxies, reverse proxies
- Risk management effectiveness
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
- Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
- Ability to quickly acquire new skills and tools
