You should have experience developing and operating high-scale services, and an understanding of how to make these cloud-scale services resilient. You understand operational excellence and know-how to infuse a culture of being proactive within your team.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
- Make enhancements to existing software with minimal direction
- Participate in code reviews and identify moderate issues or deviations from best practices
- Collaborate on component level technical designs
- Own and assist others in debugging and documenting root cause analysis and resolution
- Identify process improvements at team level to support operations and development ecosystem
- Provide software release support
- Mentor and train new associates within team and training programs
- Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with other team members
- Experience with multi-threading and parallel processing
- Good Understanding of any cloud services & capabilities
- Past experience of building scalable, performant, and secure services/modules
- Experience with Container platforms
- Good understanding of testing methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD technologies / capabilities.
- Experience with observability tools like Spunk, New Relic, etc
- Good understanding of versioning tools like Git/SVN.
- Deep experience with Java or other JVM based programming languages
- Experience with multi-threading and parallel processing
- Understanding of Micro Services architecture and API design OR
- Solid understanding of Big Data Technologies like Spark, Hadoop Map Reduce, Crunch, etc
- Experience with working on programming languages such as Scala, PySpark, Python, etc
- At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 3 years software engineering work experience
- At least 3 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Master's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
