We’re in a critical stage of growth; maturing our live-selling core platform, CommentSold! We’re seeking a Social Media Manager who is highly self-motivated, creative, and passionate about content creation with the ability to drive brand awareness, sales conversion, and customer engagement across social channels. The right candidate will be eager to create, strategically plan content and work towards mutual goals to meet business needs. If you’re wildly creative, systematic, strategic, comfortable being on camera, and love bringing a brand’s story to life, this will be the role for you.
The right candidate will:
- Have a strong familiarity and fundamental understanding of social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn
- Have a pulse on the latest trends in fashion, social content, and pop culture
- Be responsible for executing and managing all social media campaigns while setting specific objectives and business goals for each campaign
- Design, produce and execute social media content to align with business goals and campaign strategies, including the development of new social media and posting strategy for increased brand awareness, new customer acquisition, and user adoption
- Work with the Social Strategy Lead to develop and implement an ongoing content calendar and craft campaigns across multiple platforms and products for both CommentSold and Videeo.
- Be comfortable in front of a camera and star in social media content as required
- Have experience and feel comfortable shooting, editing and designing content using brand guidelines and keeping business goals in mind
- Develop reporting and measurement for social media campaigns, with a focus on impact (e.g., ROI, reach)
- Maintain and track CommentSold and Videeo public-facing social media platforms, including:
- Communicating with followers, interacting and engaging with other accounts, reading and responding to queries in a timely manner, monitoring customer reviews and tagged content.
- Collaborate with Social Strategy Lead and other teams like creative and customer success to ensure brand consistency
If you’re right for this role, you:
- Have 3+ years of experience in social media marketing; SaaS, B2B, and eCommerce experience preferred
- Can be flexible to attend events or travel (sometimes on weekends) to capture content for social channels
- Have a successful track record managing and creating social content for a tech/media company, fashion or beauty business
- Have experience managing campaigns and creating content across various social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Have experience ideating, creating, and editing various forms of content (e.g., Video, reels, static posts, ads)
- Have the ability to optimize content, strategize, and drive results through social media content across all social channels
- Have experience developing and implementing paid social campaigns, including performance monitoring and ad campaign optimization
- Have a proven understanding of the social landscape, platform best practices, and a clear grasp of consumers’ social media habits
- Have experience with social analytics and reporting across all platforms
- Are results-oriented with the ability to develop relationships and collaborate with multiple teams
- Have excellent verbal communication skills; you’re a natural storyteller
- Are comfortable hosting our social channels and be the face of our social media on TikTok/IG
- Have experience with content editing platforms such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Express
- Have experience using social scheduling tools such as Later or Meta Business Suite
