Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SOC Analyst with a strong background in Security Operations Center (SOC) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). The candidate will be responsible for log monitoring, incident response, and managing security operations. This role requires proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, O365, and KQL query writing, along with excellent communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender.
• Manage log monitoring, log management, and incident response processes in a SOC environment.
• Utilize KQL (Kusto Query Language) to craft efficient queries for incident detection and threat analysis.
• Respond to security threats and vulnerabilities by performing incident investigation and threat mitigation.
• Collaborate with teams to manage alerts and ensure quick resolution of security incidents.
• Write clear and concise technical reports and incident summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Certifications :
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or equivalent global security certification (must-have).
• SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst Associate).
• Networking certification (added advantage).
  
  

Experience

• 3+ years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in SOC and SIEM (Log Monitoring, Log Management, Incident Response).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and O365.
  
  

Skills

• Proficiency in writing KQL queries for incident detection.
• Strong verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
• Excellent technical writing skills for documentation and report generation.
