Key Responsibilities

• QA Involvement in Project Scoping: Collaborate with project managers and developers during the specification and scoping phases to gain a deep understanding of the project’s goals and requirements.
• Test Case Development: Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases based on project specifications, ensuring full test coverage for all functionalities.
• Functional QA: Test Shopify app features, workflows, and integrations to verify the logic and functionality of all components. Identify discrepancies between specifications and the final product.
• Visual QA: Review Shopify websites for design accuracy, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility. Ensure visual elements match the design specifications provided.
• Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs or issues throughout the project lifecycle. Provide detailed feedback to the development team for quick resolution.
• Regression Testing: Conduct thorough testing after bug fixes or new features are implemented to ensure the overall integrity of the Shopify app.
• Collaborative Testing: Work closely with developers, project managers, and designers to provide timely feedback and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Performance and Security Testing: Assess the performance of the Shopify apps, ensuring they load quickly and are secure.
  
  

Requirements:

• Experience with Shopify: Strong familiarity with the Shopify platform and experience testing Shopify apps, themes, or websites.
• QA Expertise: Proven experience in quality assurance, including both functional and visual QA, preferably in a web or e-commerce environment.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and a passion for finding bugs and improving user experiences.
• Testing Tools: Familiarity with QA tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar bug tracking and test case management systems).
• Responsive and Cross-browser Testing: Experience testing web applications across different devices and browsers.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide clear and actionable feedback.
• Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Automation Testing Experience: Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools is a plus.
• Basic HTML/CSS Knowledge: Understanding of web technologies to better assess front-end and visual issues.
• Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile environment, including Scrum or Kanban.
