This role involves developing and enhancing our ITAM solutions to optimize asset utilization and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement IT Asset Management solutions using ServiceNow, focusing on SAM and HAM modules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow ITAM applications to meet business needs, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Develop scripts (JavaScript, GlideScript) for automation and custom functionalities within ServiceNow.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITAM with other enterprise systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and reporting.
- Perform system upgrades and patch management, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of ITAM applications, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and end-users.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation for new features and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on IT Asset Management (SAM/SAM Pro, HAM/HAM Pro).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow ITAM modules and related functionalities.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs for integrations.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes related to asset management.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment.
