About The Role
As an SEO Strategist at Mailercloud, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing SEO initiatives that drive organic growth and strengthen our online presence. You will work closely with the digital marketing teams to develop data-driven strategies, improve search visibility, and deliver measurable results. This role is ideal for someone with 1â2 years of SEO experience who is ready to take ownership of campaigns, experiment with new tactics, and contribute to the growth of a fast-scaling SaaS company.

Key Responsibilities
- SEO Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings and website visibility.
- Keyword Research: Identify high-value keywords and optimize web pages and content around them.
- Content Optimization: Collaborate with content writers to ensure SEO-friendly blogs, landing pages, and marketing collaterals.
- Technical SEO: Monitor website performance, identify crawl/indexing issues, and recommend technical improvements.
- Competitor & Market Analysis: Track competitors' SEO strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Reporting & Analytics: Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMRUSH to measure SEO performance and provide actionable insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1â2 years of proven experience in SEO strategy and execution.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, on-page/off-page SEO, and keyword research.
- Experience with SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or similar).
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and present results clearly.
- Knowledge of technical SEO (site structure, speed optimization, schema, etc.) is a plus.
- Proactive, analytical mindset with attention to detail and eagerness to stay updated on SEO trends.
