Sberbank India is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Transactional Operations Manager to join our expanding team in our office in The Transactional Business Development in Delhi.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Insourcing Section.
- Preparation of documents on customers’ behalf, including other necessary paperwork.
- Check various trade transactions for accuracy and compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain high standards of courtesy and efficiency while serving customers.
- Handle Client meetings, and deal with them properly and professionally.
- Process all trade transactions in accordance with the procedure manual and regulatory requirements.
- Address internal and external customers’ trade-related queries professionally.
- Handling import transactions, addressing quires for Write-off BOE, ORM and BOE.
- Regular follow-up with clients for closure of BOE and ORM.
- Coordinate with FEMA team for timely clear pendency in IDPMS.
- Daily monitor BOE-ORM pendency data, and act accordingly.
- Perform reconciliation duties on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Management and coordination the daily work with internal teams to meet service expectations.
- Perform of a checker function on client master records to maintain data integrity.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Finance and Foreign Exchange Operations in a bank.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in handling outward remittances, including import payments, service payments, and foreign inward remittances under FEMA guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of RBI guidelines, FEMA regulations, IDPMS/EDPMS reporting, and compliance requirements related to cross-border transactions.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, MIS reporting, and reconciliation tracking.
- Sound understanding of data validation, process mapping, and automation of transaction workflows in trade operations.
- Experience in stakeholder coordination, including communication with clients, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Strong skills in documentation review, transaction scrutiny, and ensuring end-to-end compliance across trade and remittance life cycles.
- Ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams, especially in high-volume and regulated environments.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills with fluency in English.
