Senior Staff Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps-Senior Staff Engineer to oversee our DevOps team and drive the design, implementation, and management of robust CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation strategies. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic planning and mentoring to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers in delivering infrastructure solutions and automation projects.

Design and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI. Docker, Kubernetes or AWS DevOps.

Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

Oversee monitoring (Dynatrace Preferred), alerting, and incident response for production systems.

Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.

Ensure security best practices are implemented in infrastructure and DevOps processes (DevSecOps).

Perform cost optimization and performance tuning of cloud infrastructure.

Stay up to date with industry best practices and introduce relevant tools and technologies ( AI in DevOps- eg Building and deploying AI agent, MLOps, AI Ops, LLM Ops).

Handling an end-to-end Migration project from the Data Center to AWS Cloud.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related roles.

3+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role.

Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS DevOps).

Strong experience of a Migration project from the Datacenter to AWS Cloud ( with Cloud Services and other tooling)

Expert knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy).

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, ).

Strong understanding of system security and DevSecOps practices.

Strong understanding of AI Implementation into Devops ( End to end agent building and deployment, MLOps, AIOps, LLM Ops)

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in AWS/GCP/Azure (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Architect Associate/Professional ).

Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and Helm Chart.

Experience in implementing GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Past experience in leading migration or modernization projects (e.g., monolith to microservices).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Strong leadership and team mentoring capabilities

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver in a fast-paced environment
