Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful Solution Sourcing Specialist to join our team and help us build and enhance our platform. He/she will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and sourcing innovative and impactful solutions that cater to the needs of rural entrepreneurs. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the platform offers high-quality, relevant, and accessible tools and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Identification and Evaluation:
• Research and identify online solutions, tools, and resources that align with the needs of rural entrepreneurs.
• Due diligence to evaluate potential solutions for quality,accessibility, cost-effectiveness and impact.
  
• Market Research and Trend Analysis:
• Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in online solutions for rural entrepreneurship.
• Engage with rural entrepreneurs and community organisations to understand their specific needs and feedback.
• Analyse other similar offerings and identify possible learning / opportunities
  
• Partner Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with solution providers, technology partners, and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with agreements and platform standards and track performance.
  
• Integration and Deployment:
• Lead the sourcing process and solution selection.
• Collaborate with the product development team to integrate sourced solutions into the platform to ensure seamless deployment of new solutions.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with the platform development, marketing, and customer support teams to align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives.
• Provide insights and training to internal teams on newly sourced solutions.
  
  
  

Qualifications/Skills:

• Past experience in solution sourcing, procurement, vendor management, online platforms or a related field
• Hands on experience working in rural India
• Willingness to travel and explore new opportunities
• Excellent secondary research capabilities, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
