Values are OCI’s foundation and how we deliver excellence. We strive for equity, inclusion, and respect for all. We are committed to the greater good through our products and actions. We are constantly learning and taking opportunities to grow our careers and ourselves. We challenge each other to stretch beyond our past to build our future.
You are the builder here. You will be part of a team of smart, motivated, and diverse people, given the autonomy and support to do your best work. It is a dynamic and flexible workplace where you’ll belong and be encouraged.
The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) delivers mission-critical applications for top-tier enterprises around the world. Our cloud offers unmatched hyperscale, multi-tenant services deployed in more than 30 regions worldwide.
The mission of our Network Automation team is to provide tooling that allows our customers to design, build, scale, and operate OCI networks. Our customers want auto-remediation of incidents and touchless, automated operations such as upgrading thousands of devices, pushing configuration changes safely, and adding network capacity seamlessly. We help Oracle build a best-in-class Network Control Plane to meet our customers’ needs.
We’re looking for a Senior Manager for the Network Automation team with expertise and passion in building teams, coaching individuals, and tackling new challenges in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable networks. Candidates applying for this role should be passionate about operations and the customer experience.
This leader will have experience with direct leadership, the ability to formulate strategy, assist in validating and improving engineering functions, and delivery of services and process improvement. With the rapid growth of our organization, the leader should be comfortable operating in large, complex teams with the skills to drive details, while also up-leveling communication for senior executives.
What are the biggest challenges for the team?
The biggest challenges for the team are scaling the business to support our exponential growth and meeting the capacity and network demands of our large-scale customers, dedicated cloud customers, and existing customer growth.
You will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and strategy to the team, establishing and developing the team to meet and implement the strategy, working with geographically distributed teams, and contributing to the success of your team and other related teams. We expect you to deliver large-scale projects on time and with high quality.
