Senior Revenue Analyst - Revenue Accounting

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Revenue Analyst to join our finance team. The individual should have good technical knowledge of and experience in practical application of IFRS 15 revenue recognition accounting. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accurate computation of revenue for the company and its subsidiaries/affiliates. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and finance, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-growing company.

What You'll Do

• Revenue Accounting
• Review contracts to ensure appropriate revenue accounting treatment.
• Responsible for monthly revenue close which includes ensuring calculated figures are accurate and complete using appropriate and well support input data.
• Processing revenue bearing contracts transactions in the ERP system.
• Completion of period-end activities including reconciling and reporting revenue and related balances figures in a timely manner.
• Resolution of appropriate accounting treatment for complex revenue transactions and ensuring accurate treatment of potential revenue recognition issues.
• Developing and maintaining revenue policies & procedures.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Assisting in monthly and quarterly financial close process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Preparation of revenue footnotes for the annual financial and statutory tax reports.
• Developing and maintaining disaggregated revenue metrics for internal and external reporting.
• Work and support any external audit or compliance efforts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
• Working closely with various teams within the company, acting as an analytical focal point for data-driven decision-making.
• Identification of opportunities to streamline processes and implement automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  
  
  

What You'll Need:

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in accounting and/or financial reporting with degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required.
• Chartered accountant, CPA or equivalent required.
• Experience with a technology sector multinational company or a Big 4 accounting firm highly desirable.
• Detailed knowledge of revenue accounting standards (IFRS 15) is preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to clearly interpret accounting issues and collaborate across teams to deliver accurate results
