Senior Product Owner

Responsibilities

This position requires individuals to serve as a central resource of product strategy expertise, overseeing solution planning, execution, and customer engagement

throughout the product lifecycle under minimal supervision

The Product Owner's main function is to help the development teams implement the next generation of analysis solutions in the most effective manner by defining clear and concise business requirements and communicating the requirements to all stakeholders of the project or program. The Product Owner will conduct stakeholder interviews and research projects to define business solutions for engineering applications. A successful Product Owner is one who is highly skilled in terms of understanding and defining business processes, building solutions, communicating requirements, and controlling project scope

• Develops and executes the product and solution roadmap
• Owns, manages, and reports on the solution backlog
• Writes and implements white papers and contributes to patent applications
• Mentors individuals in specific areas of expertise
• Recommends and makes changes and enhancements to improve the quality of products and procedures
• Frequently engages with customers and Conducts complex work important to the organization
• Meeting with customers to understand their use applications and translating these requirements to product use cases and scenarios
• Gathering and analyzing technical specifications to provide domain-specific engineering knowledge for assigned products.
• Owns and manages the product backlog including user stories and cross-product dependencies, by identifying, defining, analyzing, prioritizing, and refining the requirements, and communicating those requirements to the development team.
• Developing basic wireframes and interaction flows
• Engaging and communicating with customers and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle and manage their expectations
• Manage continuous delivery of product and features using DevOps culture
• Manage highly visible projects with Agile project management principles and practices.
• Tracks and analyzes new and existing technologies, market trends, and competition to develop product features and requirements.
• Understanding long-term product vision and roadmap to translate into User Stories for the team.
• Participating in agile activities including product demonstrations, retrospectives, backlog grooming and sprint planning
• Responsible for Project Performance Monitoring & Reporting of Project status to the stakeholders
• Assisting / Updating Executive management with detailed plans / status for controlled advertising, promotion(s) and sales aids
• Acting as point of reference for all product related inquiries
  
  

Education / Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering / Technology in Mechanical or Equivalent with Plant Design expereince using CADworx suite of products
• Should have a minimum of 8-11 years of relevant work experience within Engineering domain.
