As an Analyst, you will collaborate across departments to collect essential data and leverage analytical tools to forecast and control costs, ensuring project success and profitability, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing detailed cost reports, analysing variances, and recommending corrective actions when needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, exceptional analytical skills, and keen attention to detail. You should be comfortable working with large datasets and financial models. How You’ll Make An Impact
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates and budgets
- Prepare cost models to support project budgeting and financial planning.
- Monitor and control project expenditures
- Analyse cost variances and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and maintain cost tracking systems
- Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Manage RFQ process, ensuring timely vendor responses and competitive pricing
- Perform senior SME tasks, providing strategic insights in cost analysis and procurement
- Recommend cost optimization strategies to improve efficiency and align with best practices
- Preferred knowledge of mechanical components with Procurement background
- Proven minimum experience of 5+ yrs in cost controls estimation and procurement after a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Experience with financial modelling and data analysis
