Global Manufacturing -> Engineering & Business Service center -> SCM EBSC

Supply chain management supports direct material buying, transportation, production planning, CAPEX buying & logistics coordination and ensures to deliver the required materials on time in full, at a minimal cost to all global Vestas factories, sites and wind farms. Department's goal is to achieve 100% timely deliverables to all stakeholders along with process initiatives. This department is operating globally, so an international experience comes with the job. We are looking for skilled personals who are well structured, well organized and ready to work in an international Environment with many cultural differences. You need to be able to handle large amount of data, coordinating with various stake holders.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities Required Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectation
  • Assists in issuing and tracking production orders, ensuring that required materials are supplied to the production floor, as according to the production schedule
  • Follow-up as required with all internal stake holders to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation
  • Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and inventory
  • Tracks the progress of goods as they are being manufactured to ensure they remain on schedule
  • Monitoring inventory levels and implement Engineering Change to adapt new versions
  • Interacts with shop floor management daily to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service and Accounting
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and forecast delivery plan
  • May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency

Qualifications

  • Any Graduation - UG / PG with relevant skillset & Experience
  • 4-5 yrs of experience as a Production Planner, dealing with end to end SCM and SAP MM
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project)
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills and able to speak with conviction
  • Highly self-motivated, driven work ethic, keen attention to details and exceptional customer service orientation
  • Excellent in stakeholder management and with assertive communication skills at all levels
  • Efficient Team player - ready to work @ extreme work loads

  • Planning, coordinating and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities
  • Understands the manufacturing process thoroughly, Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and priorities tasks with strict deadlines
  • Good understanding / working knowledge on Imports & Exports
  • Know Business stakeholders' requirements & expectations
  • Analytical & ability to resolve operational challenges with ease
