Job Description
- New Supplier identification and Induction for capacity enhancement of WCB castings, Mn Steel Castings, Forgings and Machining.
- Cost estimation (Should costing) for Steel and Mn Steel castings, forging and Machining parts.
- Negotiation with suppliers for Cost, Delivery terms and Freight.
- Responsible for capacity mapping and enhancement for WCB castings, Mn Steel Castings, Forgings and Machining commodity as per given forecast.
- Implementation of KANBAN System with Casting, forging and machining suppliers.
- Co-ordination with Engineering team for on time implementation of Engineering changes.
- New part development of WCB castings, Mn Steel Castings, Forgings and Machining commodity.
- Identification and Execution of cost optimization projects. (Responsible for cost saving realization).
- Responsible for supplier meets and performance awards.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Procurement
- Ability to effectively influence the stakeholder
- Proficiency & Comfort with numbers.
- Effective communication verbal, written and presentation & Analytical skills
- SAP
- MS office
- Negotiation Skills
