Senior Manager- Operations

Responsibilities

• Ensures that goods and services are produced efficiently; that they are of the right quality, quantity, and cost; and that they are produced on time, to the satisfaction of the customer, at the right price.
• Oversees daily production of Injection Molding, Fiber Extrusion, Drill/fill and Assembly and Packing and ensures continuous improvement on cost, productivity and innovation in order to secure growth and productivity.
• Ensures full compliance with all Freudenberg and FGHP standard practices, strategic objectives & reporting deadlines as well as defined corporate policies and guidelines, in general and specifically HSE/Quality related policies
• Responsible for OP preparation (capex and expense) and ensures that expenditure stays within budget limit.
• Coordinates with Planning, production and other stakeholders in a way that lowest possible inventories are maintained
• Generate and track Engineering reports, KPIs and trends with focus on machine down time and rate loss and Engineering labour efficiency.
• Prepare technical upgrades for new product manufacturing.
• Develops systems and process to optimize performance targets and ensure effective return on investment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering , Preferably MBA in Operations Management
• 15-20 years in Manufacturing with Knowledge of Plastic processing or FMCG industry
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience as head of Production or leading department/s in plastic processing or FMCG company.
• Experience in automation/ MES preferred
• Experience on Lean and/or Six sigma
