Let’s talk about the role:
Technology & Platform Oversight
- Key responsibilities include the specification, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems; managing relationships with software and vendors (including Conga CLM, OneTrust, iManage, Xakia, Jira Service Management); ensuring effective programs for system maintenance, enhancements and integrations.
 - Ensure best practices are followed for system usage, data integrity, and workflow optimization. Key responsibilities include basic design, development, enhancement and updating of applications, including table definitions and security standards.
 
- Drive the strategy and implementation of AI-powered automation within Legal, IP, and Compliance functions.
 - Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation, with a strong focus on Microsoft applications (Power Automate, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.).
 - Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative automation solutions that reduce manual work and enhance compliance.
 
- Lead the team using agile methodologies to ensure rapid delivery of high-quality solutions.
 - Manage project prioritization, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
 
- Act as the key liaison between Legal, IP, Compliance, IT, and business teams to understand needs and deliver technology solutions.
 - Communicate progress, roadmaps, and outcomes effectively to senior leadership.
 - Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
 
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior team members, ensuring growth, collaboration, and high performance.
 - Foster a culture of agility, accountability, and continuous learning.
 - Manages professional employees and exercises full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination and other personnel actions.
 
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.); Major or Minor in Information Systems
 - Hands on experience in support and maintenance and leading teams across multiple SaaS platforms (Conga CLM, OneTrust, iManage, Xakia, Jira Service Management)
 - 10+ years of experience in developing system solutions & applications across full software development lifecycle
 - 5+ Years of Experience in managing professional employees and exercises full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination and other personnel actions.
 - 5+ years of deep experience in Legal systems.
 - Well-developed root-cause analytical skills with the ability to configure and troubleshoot issues and defects
 - Experience in managing multiple and competing priorities
 - Excellent non-technical communication
 - To be agile and adaptive - this role is evolving as business needs arise
 - Ability to work flexibility across multiple time zones, as required by the global nature of this role.
 
- Bachelor’s degree.
 - Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
 - Addresses issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of own function and related disciplines.
 - Analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a different factors and understanding of current business trends.
