Reporting to the Head of Product JSM Ops, the Senior Group Product Manager is primarily responsible for enabling customers to implement world-class incident management capabilities. This role also explores advancements in this domain, leveraging AI, automation, alerting, change tracking, and status communication to enhance overall effectiveness.
Main Responsibilities
- Establish a strategic direction and provide clarity for the JSM Operations roadmap, ensuring that investments are balanced effectively.
- Facilitate decision-making across the organization and various functions to enhance the growth of our Enterprise customer base in relation to JSM Operations.
- Lead and motivate the teams that support AIOps, automation/orchestration, and DevOps tools.
- Represent Atlassian and JSM at partner and customer events, showcasing our offerings.
- Oversee programs that encourage teams to develop innovative solutions and provide high-quality, actionable recommendations.
- Engage deeply in the monthly review of business performance concerning JSM’s growth objectives.
- Collaborate directly with development and design squads at all organizational levels to drive prioritization and alignment.
- Mentor and inspire a growing team of 7-9 experienced Product Managers.
- Act as Senior Product Manager in high-priority customer discovery and escalation meetings.
- Proven experience in Enterprise Product Management, particularly in launching SaaS products at an Enterprise scale, with a focus on the ITSM sector.
- Comfortable leading a diverse Portfolio of domains that may not be interconnected, and managing projects that span the entire organization.
- Strong people management skills, with a passion for developing and mentoring Product Managers while holding them accountable for multiple workstreams.
- A clear vision for your product or portfolio that provides direction and inspiration to the team.
- The ability to translate abstract challenges into strategic initiatives and break them down into a cohesive plan that empowers teams to transform problems into user and Atlassian success.
- A relentless ability to prioritize effectively, coupled with the technical expertise to collaborate closely with engineering to execute the roadmap you establish.
- Exceptional communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills that enable you to craft and deliver a compelling narrative at the appropriate level to engage and inspire any audience.
