Role Overview:
As a Senior Graphic Designer at Elance, you will lead the creative direction of our visual content, ensuring a high standard of design that reflects and strengthens the Elance brand. With 5+ years of experience, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing compelling designs across various marketing channels, including hoardings, standees, brochures, pamphlets, and other digital and print deliverables. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a sharp eye for detail, paired with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Design & Visual Content Development:
- Conceptualize and produce high-quality marketing materials, including hoardings, standees, pamphlets, brochures, and digital posters.
- Design engaging graphics for ad campaigns, social media, video covers, and other promotional assets.
- Innovate and elevate the visual language of the brand across platforms.
Strategic Collaboration:
- Collaborate with content strategists, marketers, and other departments to create visually aligned campaigns.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and provide design expertise to support campaign goals.
- Interpret creative briefs and transform concepts into impactful visuals.
Brand Leadership & Consistency:
- Uphold and evolve Elance’s brand identity through consistent application of brand guidelines.
- Mentor junior designers and ensure all creative output reflects the brand’s tone, quality, and standards.
Project Management & Execution:
- Manage multiple design projects with efficiency and deliver within timelines.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, including handling urgent requests and last-minute revisions.
- Maintain structured file management and version control for all design assets.
Design Research & Innovation:
- Stay current with design trends, marketing innovations, and industry best practices.
- Regularly conduct visual audits of competitors and propose creative improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or agency setting.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of print and digital design work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator).
- Excellent understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate feedback into refined design.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
