We are looking for a Senior Front-end Software Engineer to make a meaningful contribution to the development process, make decisions autonomously, and guide projects.
You will:
- Work in Agile teams, the UI developer line organization, and communities of practice
- Tailor the user experience for browser, server, and mobile
- Understand the problem and requirements, break the higher level requirements down to more detailed ones, identify implied requirements, document technical requirements, and distribute them to team members
- Plan and design solutions with diagrams and human-readable documentation
- Verify the quality of the solution against requirements and plans including solutions of other engineers by using pair programming, code review, and brainstorming for PoCs
- Implement automated unit and acceptance tests for a given implemented functionality, and maintain the code coverage
- Ensure maintainability (minimalism, legibility by others, openness for extension)
- 7+ years of combined professional Front-end development experience with DOM API, JavaScript, and TypeScript on both server and client side
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and SCSS
- Years of experience developing Node.js applications is a massive plus
- Detailed knowledge of Angular or React
- Solid knowledge of Git
- Hands-on expertise in testing with Jest
- Demonstrated knowledge of software design patterns in Web development
- Proficient in English
- An understanding of the building blocks that are required for building a front-end application, including:
- Project architecture using NX, monorepos, micro-frontend, reusable libraries would be a great plus
- Task planning and distribution
- Version control with different flows and pipelines
- Unit and Integration testing approaches
- Security in the browser, mobile client, or server
- Build for different environments; server configuration using Docker, Kubernetes
- Nice-to-have:
- Tailwind CSS
- Stenciljs web components
- Test with Jasmine and Playwright
- Redux toolkit, NgRx, and other libraries for managing application state
- RxJS
