- Design & Development
- Conduct Design from First Principals.
- Develop Product Breakdown Structure and guide Detail Design and Calculations.
- Lead packages of design work coordinating all elements from requirement capture, concept generation and down selection to verification and validation.
- Reliability Analysis - Conduct component and system design of marine equipment with a focus on delivering compliant solutions which maximize availability and equipment up-time.
- Monitor and Document the Design Process, while managing schedule and budgets for the project
- Testing
- Perform regular tests and experiments to determine how to better improve a component/ assembly
- Generate test instructions and SOPs
- Working in Collaborative Teams
- Work in Lifecycle of Project as Mechanical Lead
- Conversant with 3D CAD Modelling and Drawing Packages
- ANSYS or Equivalent
- UG NX or Equivalent
- AutoCAD
- Conversant with Mechanical Design, Fluid Design/ Naval Architect
- Basic IT Skills
- MSExcel - Generate Calculation Sheets
- MSWord - Ability to prepare documentation
- MSPowerpoint - Strong Presentation Skills
