Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team for a critical project engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes (EKS), and PostgreSQL (Aurora), with proven skills in performance optimization, automation, and troubleshooting.

This role demands a hands-on professional with excellent English communication skills, who can collaborate effectively with global teams, ensure uptime, and support developers in delivering high-quality solutions. Candidates who can join within 30 days are highly preferred.

• Infrastructure & Automation
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS services: EKS, RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, WAF, OpenSearch, and ElastiCache Redis.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, and Argo Rollouts.
• Implement blue/green and canary deployments for zero-downtime releases.
• Performance & Reliability
• Optimize performance of Kubernetes workloads, PostgreSQL databases, caching, and networking.
• Ensure system uptime and availability SLAs.
• Identify bottlenecks and deliver scalable solutions.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting
• Configure and maintain observability using the Grafana stack (Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, etc.).
• Perform deep troubleshooting of EKS clusters, PostgreSQL, and distributed applications.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Collaboration & Support
• Work closely with developers to streamline deployments, troubleshoot issues, and improve efficiency.
• Support teams using Jira and Confluence for Agile workflows.
• Provide on-call support during weekends in case of emergencies.
• Document best practices, solutions, and runbooks.

• 8+ years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Proven expertise with:
• AWS EKS, RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, WAF, OpenSearch, ElastiCache Redis.
• Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with the Grafana stack for monitoring and alerting.
• Proven ability to optimize performance and maintain uptime.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) – professional and clear.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodology.
• Problem-solving mindset, ability to work under tight deadlines.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer.
• Experience in high-availability and security-focused environments.
• Previous project experience in performance tuning and scaling.

• Location: Surat, Gujarat (preferred) – Open for Remote candidates
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekend availability for emergencies
• Availability: Candidates who can join within 30 days preferred
