Job Title: Senior Cluster Fulfilment Manager

Location: Branch Office, Chennai

Job Purpose

Cluster Fulfilment Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain operations for a consumer cluster in HUL. This includes inventory management, production planning, order fulfilment, and distribution to ensure that product availability and service levels are met while optimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels while ensuring product availability and minimizing stock-outs.
• Plan Storage capacity & Throughput for Depots & right capacity decisions
• Ensure timely invoicing everyday with best Day 0 / DOT & invoice accuracy
• On-time & accurate buffer operations execution | Deliver superior unloading TAT
• Lead cost optimization for Depot. Deliver annual WH & freight cost targets
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate demand forecasting and inventory planning.
• Manage order fulfilment and distribution operations to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, such as inventory turns, service levels, and order fill rates, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and procurement, to drive business growth and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements, including safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Drive Superior cost by implementing best practices and Brilliant basics across depot operations
• Drive National level project around Customer Service and Logistics for world class customer experience.
• Disruption planning with all relevant stakeholders to minimize business impact
  
  

Samadhan Specific

• Deliver n+1 delivery consistently above 80% & and a CVF/CLF close to 90% through right S&OP & stock planning
• E2E process execution between warehouse and cross-docks for timely delivery
• Achieve picking shortages & damages within targets through improvement programs
• Timely reconciliation & induction of return stocks in the warehouse
  
  

Availability

• Implement processes to ensure predictive service and trigger timely actions for resolving the hotspots
• Lead the S&OP process to ensure right v1 numbers inlines with MGP & market demand
• Liaise with supply & distribution leads for structural for service hostpot, identify right improvement plans for resolution and execute the same
• Deliver Day 0, DR & BW as per agreed targets
  
  

Experience Required

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in a consumer goods or retail industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including inventory management, production planning, order fulfilment, and distribution.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory and legal requirements, including safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or Master’s Degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, such as SAP, BI
