As the Senior AVP of General Analytics, you will lead key initiatives that shape the future of EXL’s business and capabilities. This role is heavily focused on Sales, Business Development, and Capability Development, while ensuring strong client account management.

On a typical day, you could be doing one or more of the following:
- Account Management: Serve as the key point of contact for senior client leadership and manage the full lifecycle of accounts to ensure sustained success and growth.
- Sales & Business Development: Spearhead the acquisition of new business opportunities by identifying prospects, building relationships, and developing solutions tailored to client needs.
- Capability Development: Lead the development of new analytics capabilities, keeping EXL at the forefront of industry innovation, and build a center of excellence (CoE) in analytics.
- Intra-Account Strategy: Work with account heads to identify potential requirements and develop strategies to increase penetration within the organization.
- Collateral Creation: Lead creation of presentations, excel models & strategic plans for key client meetings & executive level discussions
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Consultants, Data Scientists, Data Engineers) to develop a comprehensive analytics roadmap that meets client needs and delivers measurable business impact.
- Client Interaction: Ensure regular check-ins with client stakeholders to proactively identify challenges and opportunities, while aligning EXL’s offerings with their business strategy
- Project Management: Lead multiple engagements, managing timelines, deliverables, and team performance while ensuring adherence to service delivery models.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team, setting clear objectives, overseeing execution, and conducting performance evaluations.
- 10+ years of experience in analytics service delivery, consulting, business development, and account management, with a focus on B2C and omnichannel retail across customer lifecycle and customer journey.
- Strong experience in Sales and Business Development, with a demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives, close deals, and manage key client relationships.
- Hands-on expertise in advanced analytics, solution design, and capability development, driving measurable outcomes that create substantial value for clients
- Solid working knowledge of Python, HDFS, SQL, Azure, Databricks is mandatory.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects on time.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in Management, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields is preferred. A BA/BS degree from a top-tier institution is also considered.
