The Supply Chain team is responsible to enable product availability across channels in optimized cost as well as time. This team delivers on strategic priorities and provides support through transformation to help Lowe’s build best in class Supply Chain capabilities.
Job Summary
Supply Chain Analyst works closely & liaison with the broader Supply Chain team to understand requirements and provide analytical solutions, consulting and deliver business value. The Sr. Analyst comes up with strategies for fulfilling the reporting / analytical needs of our Supply Chain team and provides insights and recommendations by analyzing patterns from data related to service and productivity metrics, planning & fulfillment. The Sr. analyst also develops, maintains, and enhances critical data assets required to deliver quality business insights. Analyst follows through with detailed research whenever any issue arises, identifies, and corrects the root-cause. Analyst maintains high service level agreements, ensures quick turnaround for data pulls, ad hoc analyses, and report creation. The incumbent is expected to mentor junior team members.

Roles & Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and build analytical solutions using quantitative techniques for solving business problems and recommend them to the business.
- Lead and develop complex reporting and analysis solutions for Supply Chain related business problems.
- Drive projects and initiatives that are of high priority to Supply Chain and deliver them as per timelines.
- Performs root-cause analysis, locates bugs, log defects and corrects them on priority.
- Mentor, coach and train junior members in the team.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses supporting a vast array of business scenarios.
- Experience on handling analytical projects along with business stakeholder management.
- Generates reports and dashboards as per the established service level agreements.
- Collaborates regularly with cross-functional teams, manages complex systems and process
- 5+ years of experience in analytics / business intelligence, preferably in retail.
- At least 2+ years of experience in supply chain analytics.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering / Statistics.
- MBA or master’s degree in supply chain would be a plus.
Primary Skills (must have)
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to transform raw data into tangible and actionable insights.
- Experience in Excel, PowerBI & programming languages such as Python or R.
- Ability to drill-down into large data sets running into millions of rows and perform root cause analysis.
- Proficient in using complex SQL queries to extract, transform and load data (ETL) in Hadoop & GCP.
- Experience of working on a programming language such as Python or R.
- Experience of working in dynamic, fast changing environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate & prioritize effectively in demanding situations.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents for presentation to management.
- Knowledge/experience in Looker
- Experience in analytics / business intelligence in the Retail domain.
