About The Role
We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join the India office of DESRI, i.e., DESRI India Private Limited, based in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be a part of Legal & Compliance team and will regularly interact with the U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, as well as external parties. The candidate will be a part of an inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI’s portfolio of wind, solar, and storage projects within a dynamic environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving, and attention to detail.
What You'll Do
In this position, you will be responsible for handling a range of legal operational tasks and supporting the commercial team by collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. Your work will involve managing entity administration, including maintaining databases, handling entity formations and closures, and ensuring timely regulatory filings. You will also be responsible for preparing and updating organizational charts, supporting Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, and managing sensitive documentation requests.
Additionally, you will play a key role in identifying and implementing process improvements related to billing, entity administration, and KYC activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will require strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold-
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration/management or any related field with a proven record of academic achievement.
- 2-4 years of experience in operational and management, including entity management, KYCs, regulatory compliance for US operations, tax ids and related compliance.
- Candidates with consulting and operational experience are preferred.
- Well-developed analytical abilities, communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail are all essential, as is a deep interest in exploring and learning new areas of compliance.
- A keen sense of judgement is of great importance, as is a demonstrated ability to take initiative and collaborate with colleagues in support of highly complex transactions.
