About Role:

As a Script Writer, you will be responsible for creating original, compelling, and culturally resonant stories for OTT audiences in both Hindi and English. You will craft engaging narratives, dialogues, and character arcs that connect deeply with viewers across genres. This role requires strong creative writing skills, a keen sense of storytelling, and an understanding of OTT content consumption patterns. You will collaborate closely with content, production, and creative teams to bring stories to life that are both fresh and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:

● Creative Storytelling & Script Writing:

Develop original scripts and adapt concepts into powerful, audience-first narratives.

Write engaging dialogues, emotional arcs, and culturally authentic characters in Hindi and English.

Shape plots with strong hooks, dramatic pacing, and OTT-friendly storylines.

● Content Development for OTT:

Conceptualize and develop content ideas aligned with OTT viewing trends and audience preferences.

Collaborate with creative directors, editors, and production teams to refine scripts from ideation to final draft.

Ensure stories are binge-worthy, culturally nuanced, and suitable for multi-genre storytelling.

● Language & Cultural Sensitivity:

Switch seamlessly between Hindi and English while maintaining natural flow and authenticity.

Capture the linguistic and cultural nuances of diverse Indian audiences.

● Trend & Audience Alignment:

Incorporate pop culture references, current trends, and audience insights to make scripts contemporary and relatable.

Continuously evolve writing style to suit the demands of OTT platforms and changing audience behavior.

Requirements:

● 2–7 years of experience as a Script Writer, Creative Writer, or Screenwriter in OTT, film, or entertainment.

● Strong command over Hindi and English, with proven creative writing ability in both languages.

● Prior experience writing for OTT platforms (original shows, films, or series).

● Demonstrated ability to craft engaging dialogues, compelling characters, and gripping narratives.

● Strong understanding of OTT storytelling formats, genres, and audience expectations.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Background in screenwriting, creative writing, or literature.

● Experience working on multi-genre projects (drama, thriller, romance, youth-centric).

● Ability to adapt existing stories/IPs into fresh, engaging OTT-ready scripts.

● Familiarity with global and Indian OTT trends, formats, and audience sensibilities.
