Job Description for Sales Operations Analyst

Summary:

A Sales Operations Analyst will work cross functionally across the Sales teams, supporting the company’s need for a robust Revenue Forecast that reaches various audiences across the company. You will further develop your analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills while gaining an understanding of the K-8 educational industry. In this role, you will interact with a variety of other departments, including Sales, Deal Operations, and IT Business Systems.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

System Enhancements & Data Hygiene:

  • Ongoing territory upkeep in SFDC for the Sales Team.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy on territory structure and alignment.
  • Prepare and load renewal opportunities on a rolling quarterly basis.

Territory Optimization:

  • Annual and ongoing updates to align SFDC to the new territories.
  • Ensuring accounts are assigned to the correct Sales Reps.
  • Routinely audit SFDC to maintain accuracy for the above tasks.

Annual Target Setting:

  • Updating Salesforce with the annual targets and related metrics.

Training

  • Create and maintain SFDC training materials for the Sales Team.
  • Communicate SFDC enhancements to the Sales/Support Team and training as needed.

Required Job Skills and Abilities:

  • An analytic, critical thinker who enjoys solving problems and working with data.
  • Tech savvy with expert level Excel & Analytical skills.
  • Previous use of SQL and SFDC/Domo/BI Tools experience is a plus.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a Sales/Revenue Ops role.
  • An organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills.
  • A clear and concise communicator both verbally and in writing.
  • A person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts well to change.
