Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and expand our Ayurveda Human Division in East and South India. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in developing and executing sales strategies, building high-performing teams, and driving business growth in the assigned regions. This role is pivotal for our upcoming expansion, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve the companys growth objectives in the Ayurveda market.
  • Set sales targets for the region (East and South India) and ensure achievement of revenue and profitability goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.

  • Recruit, develop, and manage a dynamic sales team across East and South India for the new expansion.
  • Lead by example, providing training, mentorship, and performance reviews to ensure a highly motivated and capable team.
  • Set clear goals for team members and create strategies for them to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in key markets within East and South India.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders in the Ayurveda sector.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute promotional activities to boost brand visibility and product awareness.
  • Oversee the complete sales cycle from prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals to post-sale customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting on sales performance.
  • Work closely with supply chain and logistics to ensure product availability in all regions.
  • Drive sustainable growth through strategic business development and expansion efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize sales processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance, team progress, and market feedback.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals, Ayurvedic practitioners, and industry stakeholders to enhance the companys market presence.
  • Ensure alignment with senior managements vision and contribute to the broader business strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Ayurveda, or related fields. MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8-15 years of proven experience in sales strategy development and execution, specifically in the Ayurveda or Herbal Pharmaceuticals industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams and driving business growth, especially in Eastern and Southern regions of India.
  • Strong understanding of the Ayurvedic market, its products, and the industry landscape.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned regions.
