Job Summary
The Sales Executive – B2R will be responsible for driving sales of agri-inputs and products to retailers, vendors, and local distribution points. This role involves direct fieldwork, relationship management, demand generation, and ensuring product visibility in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, agri-dealers, and distributors.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective territory management.
Conduct field visits regularly to understand market demand and customer requirements.
Promote and explain product features, benefits, and usage to retail partners.
Ensure adequate stock availability and timely order fulfilment in the assigned region.
Coordinate with the supply chain team for smooth delivery and logistics support.
Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas in rural and semi-urban markets.
Maintain sales reports, customer records, and visit logs on a regular basis.
Participate in local exhibitions, promotional events, and training sessions.
Collect market feedback and competitor analysis to inform internal teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field preferred.
1–2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in agri-inputs/FMCG/rural retail.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
Knowledge of local geography and rural markets.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or reporting tools.
