Job description
Seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development professional to drive the growth of biodegradable and compostable granules across flexible and rigid packaging industries. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of biopolymers and masterbatch materials, with a proven track record of B2B sales in the plastics or sustainable materials domain.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of biodegradable and compostable granules across targeted industries such as flexible packaging, rigid packaging, masterbatch manufacturers, and biopolymer compounders
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
- Identify and onboard new clients in the plastic packaging, masterbatch, and biopolymer segments
- Manage the complete B2B sales cycle — from lead generation and product pitching to price negotiation, deal closure, and after-sales support
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business and high satisfaction levels
- Conduct technical presentations, product trials, and demonstrations showcasing the performance and sustainability benefits of compostable solutions
- Collaborate closely with R&D and production teams to align product specifications with customer requirements
- Continuously monitor industry trends, pricing behavior, and competitor movements within the bioplastic and masterbatch domain
- Gather market intelligence and provide insights to support product development and pricing strategies
- Track and report sales performance metrics to senior management on a regular basis
- Represent Ukhi at trade fairs, exhibitions, sustainability forums, and industry events to promote brand awareness
- Support marketing initiatives and contribute to the company’s sustainability-driven communication strategy
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of bioplastics, polymers, and masterbatch applications
- Proven track record in B2B industrial sales
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand customer technical requirements and coordinate with R&D teams
- Strong market analysis and strategic planning abilities
