- Proven experience of 1-3 years in a similar role within the hospitality industry, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in housekeeping.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all rooms meet the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Effective time management skills to manage cleaning schedules and tasks efficiently without compromising quality.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift or move cleaning supplies and materials as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a welcoming and positive experience for guests.
- Competency in cleaning techniques to ensure the safe and effective cleaning of guest rooms.
- Good organizational skills to manage supplies, prioritize tasks, and maintain orderliness in work areas.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members, ensuring all needs are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating teamwork and cooperation.
- Clean and tidy guest rooms to ensure they meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
- Replace used towels and replenish other bathroom amenities such as shampoo and soap.
- Restock beverages and food items in the mini-bar according to hotel standards.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests for additional supplies or services promptly and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping manager.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stored correctly and safely at the end of each shift.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering hotel cleaning supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations set by the hotel management to ensure a safe working environment.
