Retiral Benefits Coordinator
JOB PURPOSE:
To ensure the effective administration and compliance of employee benefit schemes including Gratuity, Superannuation, Provident Fund, NPS by managing statutory processes, facilitating timely settlements and contributions, liaising with stakeholders such as LIC, fund managers, and auditors, and maintaining accurate reporting and policy renewals. The role plays a critical function in securing employee entitlements while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gratuity :
Ensure Timely settlement of Gratuity claims
TDS payment and filing of quarterly and annual returns
Issue form 16 for gratuity settlement
Provide employee data to LIC for the annual renewal of gratuity policies
Gratuity funding for policy renewal
Conduct trusts audit
Regularly connect with fund managers
Provide updates to trustees on fund status
Support internal and external auditors
Update trustees with MOM with bank representatives
Superannuation:
Process monthly superannuation contributions to LIC
Handle superannuation withdrawal claims
Manage return of corpus claims in death cases
Share Superannuation statements with employees
Facilitate superannuation transfer to NPS
Support ex-employees with annuity number, policy number, and existence certificate requests
Provident Fund:
Share monthly PF & ESIC reports with Team
Ensure PF payments are made before the 15th of every month
Share Accounting entries related to payment
Reconcile PF liabilities and payments
Renew EDLI policies for BCS, BBSPL, and BPPL annually
Liaising with PF department to ensure closure of pending issues
WHO YOU ARE:
Graduate with at least 5+ years of experience in handling retiral benefits is must.
Ability to handle Ex-employees with outmost care and empathy. Flexibility to meet customer needs and deadlines is a must.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Stakeholder management across cultures.
Ability to take ownership of responsibilities.
