Currently spread over 40 locations around the world, our global design community of 2200+ innovation strategists, product designers, service designers, transformation experts, creative technologists, experience designers, and brand designers collaborates actively with EY’s advisory services to help our clients design, build and launch new innovative products, services and corporate ventures. With rapid growth across EY's Innovation and Experience Design (IXD) practice, we're looking for design strategists, service designers, design researchers, and digital designers to join us at our GDS (Global Delivery Services) Design Studios.

The opportunity (Hiring for Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune)

We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital design, has excellent craft capability, and experience leading teams to execute high-quality, world-class design. You will do well if you have a strong entrepreneurial mindset toward business, while also being able to navigate corporate structures. You have experience leading engagements and growing relationships with existing clients on both local and international level. We believe that a holistic understanding of business, technology, and design is at the center of what we do and are looking for a candidate that has the experience and a mindset that matches these parameters.  

Manager/Research & Insight Lead

key responsibilities

• Run projects with multiple teams, managing budget and resources
• Demonstrate excellent time-management and multi-tasking capability
• Work with researchers through the project lifecycle on qualitative and quantitative research studies
• Develop client ready materials including research design, research instruments (discussion guides, questionnaires etc.) and outputs (data analysis, data visualisation, insights driven reporting)
• Provide mentoring and motivate diverse client engagement teams by delivering constructive on-the-job coaching to team members, while fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
• Work with datasets to drive high quality insights for our clients
• Quality control of client deliverables (surveys, data, documents, etc)
• Participate in sales activities (quotes, presentations etc.). Lead client conversations around human-centric business transformation; develop and facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions
• Drive cross-discipline development
• Excel at communication and engagement
• Establish rituals for sharing, learning, and collaborating
• Develop strong collaborative and commercial network with other studios
• Execute hands-on, and craft deliverables with high visual quality and communication
• Help turn raw research into insights and identify opportunity spaces into differentiated service experiences
• Maintain open and proactive communication; build credibility based on an understanding of client challenges related to technical matters
• Stay updated on the latest developments/trends/thinking within your field
• Provide constructive feedback tailored to each team member’s style and environment, and help them develop their growth path.
  
  

Skills And Attributes

• Good years’ research and insights experience, preferably at an agency or consultancy but not mandatory. Key focus – qualitative and/or quantitative research with a willingness to work across both
• Effective project management skills across the end-to-end research process, with the ability to manage competing timelines and to deliver against set milestones
• Strong analytical, interpretation and writing skills, including demonstrated experience in transforming information into insight and business strategies
• Strong client engagement and presentation skills
• An ability to work with, support and mentor others
