IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relationship Manager to join our Rural Business Banking team in Ajmer, Rajasthan. As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our business banking portfolio in the rural areas of Ajmer.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential business banking clients in the rural areas of Ajmer
- Identify and acquire new business banking clients through various channels such as referrals, networking, and cold calling
- Understand the financial needs of clients and provide them with suitable banking solutions
- Cross-sell other banking products and services to clients to increase revenue and deepen relationships
- Monitor and manage the performance of the business banking portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within the bank to provide a seamless and efficient banking experience for clients
- Stay updated on market trends, competition, and regulatory changes to provide relevant and timely advice to clients
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and relationship management in the banking industry, preferably in rural areas
- Strong understanding of business banking products and services
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software
- Knowledge of the local market and language is preferred
Additional Parameters
- Fluency in the local language is preferred
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle is preferred
- Knowledge of rural banking and microfinance is a plus.
