Job Description

As RSM, you will be responsible for Order Management ( Procure to Pay flow), Vendor management ( Evaluation , Onboarding, Vendor Development) and Vendor Operations (Performance control and Escalation Management) processes for Projects allotted to your cohort

  • Preparation & floating of package wise tender for interiors work (C&I & Services packages), understanding the terms & condition of the contract, BOQ specification and basic rate, payment terms & conditions, contract terms & conditions.
  • Understanding scope & specification of Non tender items, involvement in validation with rate analysis, supporting quotation and invoices
  • Ensuring Orders are awarded within TAT, Track and ensure timely deliveries of product and services
  • Escalation management arising out of Vendor performance with objective of project delivery on time and quality
  • Visit multiple vendors locations, sites, factories to understand the process and systems followed in quality, production and delivery
  • Manage / build relationships with existing vendors and also the prospective vendors who are identified for the particular engagement.
  • Ensure updation of project trackers & summaries
  • Analyze data to identify performance bottlenecks, devise corrective solutions, and own implementation end-to-end
  • Work with internal functions on key initiatives such as SOPs, pricing, new initiatives.

Job Requirement

  • Management/Construction management/BE (Civil), preferably from a Tier I/Tier II Institute.
  • 5+yrs of relevant experience.
  • Should have handled multiple vendors across regions with various principles.
  • Should have worked on vendor evaluation process, vendor onboarding, vendor performance analysis. Should be able to assess vendor financial performance from their annual returns, tax fillings, P&L statements.
  • Should have good communication skills, written and oral for interaction with multiple vendors of Interiors, carpets, tiles, electrical, HVAC, networking, FAPa (all low voltage systems) for finalisation of rates and making them agree for the fulfilment.
  • Should be able understand the product and service costing of gypsum, tile, paint, glass, aluminium partition, modular partition, waterproofing, carpentry, wood works. Masonry, block works, capable of sourcing alternate products in above mentioned material groups, but not limited to civil & MEP. (like Electrical, HVAC, FAPA)
  • Should broadly understand General contracting, Design build, package contracting, value based project and loading margins, Lumpsum in commercial fit out project or residential or hotel or retail project
  • Process-driven project management professional with quick problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive and capable of prioritizing work
  • Extremely high level of ownership and learning aptitude
  • Past experience in managing project management/operations is a core requirement for this role preferable if worked with ops-focused startups.
  • The high degree of comfort on Excel/Google Sheets and strong data analysis skills
