- Regional Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and implement the strategic roadmap for the COCO Division within the assigned region.
- Align regional operations with the company's overall objectives, ensuring consistency in execution and performance.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and address potential challenges.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and oversee a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to ASMs to enhance their leadership skills and drive their teams’ effectiveness.
- Conduct regular reviews and performance evaluations, setting clear goals and expectations for the team.
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure operational efficiency across all company-owned stores in the region, driving adherence to Bata’s brand standards and policies.
- Conduct periodic audits and store visits to assess compliance, customer service quality, and operational standards.
- Identify and address bottlenecks to streamline processes and enhance overall performance.
- Sales & Profitability:
- Drive sales performance and profitability for the region, ensuring stores meet and exceed revenue and margin targets.
- Collaborate with ASM’s to implement region-specific sales strategies and promotional initiatives.
- Analyse sales data and market insights to inform decision-making and improve results.
- Customer Experience:
- Champion the delivery of a superior customer experience across the region, ensuring consistency and quality in every store.
- Address escalated customer issues and feedback, implementing strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Inventory & Visual Merchandising:
- Ensure effective inventory management across the region, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.
- Work with the merchandising and supply chain teams to ensure stores are stocked with the right mix of products.
- Guide ASMs in maintaining high visual merchandising standards to drive footfall and conversions.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure that all stores within the region comply with legal, financial, and operational requirements.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard operations and brand reputation.
- Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability without compromising operational excellence.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare and present detailed reports on regional performance to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable recommendations.
- Maintain clear and open communication channels between the corporate office and the regional team.
- Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage high-performing teams across multiple levels.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong capability to develop and execute long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Analytical Acumen: Proficient in analysing data to drive performance improvements and informed decision-making.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
