Job Description

Non Fuel Retail has been identified as one of the 5 organisation business priorities for Nayara Retail, making this a pivotal new role in the ‘Transformation’ Retail journey to New-Era Fuelling. The talent would be responsible to drive Retail Comp Transactions / Pump Visitation by championing Nayara Food Vertical Start Up; Nayara’s foray into F&B covering ~50% and AUTO/ others ~70% of 10,000+ growing retail network by 2027, making Nayara the top 3 players in India NFR market share / India’s Best Retail Network.

ACTIVITIES

1 Operations Excellence

• Ensure on field execution ensuring 100% Ops excellence
• Daily Beats to NFR stores ensuring SOP adherence including planograms. Manpower, stock fulfilment etc.
• Ensuring Visual merchandising at stores as per approved visual merchandising calendar
  
  
  

2 Scale Up

• Site selection recommendation basis scientific approach of Trading area assessment / Consumer surveys.
• Monitor the scale up plan for all approved NFRs and drive go live on ground with support of his team.
• Project Management on Target/ Actual NFR go live - Track execution against plan, highlight risks & deviations & develop mitigation plans
• Assess using NFR Grid model – RO selection and NFR fitment.
  
  
  

3 New Store Opening (NSO)

• Work detailed launch plans
• Collaborate with Operations team to align franchisee and ensure on ground execution.
• Work alongside cross functional teams ensure adherence of launch checklist.
• Work alongside Brand Change and BD team to ensure NFR is integrated in new or brand change outlets.
  
  
  

4 Local Store Marketing

• Propose sales driving initiatives including franchisee engagement plans / Schemes/ Promotions/ FSM R&R.
• Track sales and influence on field execution via operations team to deliver targets.
• Local Store Marketing responsible for driving Sales and Brand via community building activities in liaison with Operations.
• Tie up with local partners for sales driving activities
  
  
  

5 Internal change management

• Prepare field staff, RO and other stakeholder communication and interface for alignment
• Prepare periodic dashboards & reports
• Manage internal stakeholders (Cross functions) and franchisee for smooth execution
• Competition Scan / Local Consumer Knowledge
• Conduct researches at NFR outlet to generate meaningful qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Competition visits and know how on existing promotions / schemes etc
• Local consumer understanding to recommend/ arrive at winning regional/ market propositions.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent degree from good business school
