About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate WordPress Developer with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, including themes and plugins. You should be proficient in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong focus on performance, security, and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement features and functionality for WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on client-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, marketers, and developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and overall performance using best practices.
• Implement caching, image optimization, and script minimization techniques to boost performance.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing WordPress sites and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure site security by preventing vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS) and applying hardening techniques and security plugins.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment and support.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and Requirements :
• Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
• Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Solid experience in responsive and mobile-friendly web design.
• Experience with REST APIs and AJAX is a strong advantage.
• Expertise in WordPress core concepts : custom post types, taxonomies, custom fields.
• Strong knowledge of popular plugins/frameworks such as WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and WPML.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with other PHP-based CMS platforms like Magento or Joomla is a plus.
• Ability to develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from Skills :
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Passion for web development and a continuous drive to learn and grow :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
