Deccan AI is a model training and eval startup headquartered in the Bay Area. We are backed by Prosus Ventures, and our India delivery office is in Hyderabad. Most of our roles are on-site i.e. Bay Area / Hyderabad.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic React Native Developer – Fresher to join our mobile development team. This role is suited for recent graduates or entry-level developers who are passionate about building cross-platform mobile applications and eager to gain hands-on experience in app development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop mobile applications for both iOS and Android using React Native
• Build reusable and efficient components to ensure scalability and performance
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement new features
• Debug and fix issues to deliver smooth user experiences
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and mobile development best practices
• Participate in team discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent knowledge)
• Basic understanding of React Native fundamentals (components, hooks, navigation)
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiarity with mobile development concepts and RESTful APIs
• Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems
• Strong problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have

• Internship, academic projects, or personal apps built with React Native
• Understanding of native modules (Android/iOS) integration
• Exposure to tools like Xcode, Android Studio, or Expo
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
