R&D Engr/Scientist II

Responsibilities

• Overall owner of the Specialty Additives Technical Sales and Support for India.
• Understand the needs Additives customer base in India and design experimentation which demonstrates how Honeywell products can help meet those needs.
• Own and drive the execution of experimental programs, whether conducted internally or at external labs.
• In conjunction with the Commercial team, participate in customer visits aimed at identification of unmet needs.
• Work jointly with the Commercial team to qualify sales leads and improve conversion rate to ongoing sales
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum BS Degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or closely related field required. Advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Have extensive experience working in the Specialty Chemicals and/or Polymer related industries.
• Experience in PVC/CPVC processing, Inks, Coatings, Adhesives, or related applications
• Good project management skills.
• People management skills and experience.
• Self-motivated team player, able to work under own initiative as well as in a multi-cultural team spanning numerous time zones and cultures.
• Ability to assemble, analyse and present results/conclusions internally and externally.
