Quality Specialist (Data Analytics) - Your future position?

As a Quality Specialist (Data Analytics), you will enhance Data & Analytics capabilities within Quality & Food Safety, while providing support to Global Quality functions and the SAMEA region in related systems and processes. In this role, you will be based in Ranjangaon, Pune and reporting directly to the Global Head of Quality & Food Safety.

Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:

  • Develop, improve, and maintain reports and dashboards to track and analyze Quality and Food Safety metrics.
  • Ability to write code and analyze multiple data sets to generate actionable insights for improvement in Quality and Food Safety.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of performance metrics and support data requests from global quality functions.
  • Support quality functions in SAMEA to ensure alignment with global standards, conducting audits and assessments to evaluate compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support problem-solving efforts and the implementation of quality improvement programs.
  • Assist Sales and Operations with customer-related inquiries and problem resolutions.
  • Conduct internal and vendor audits to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain vendor quality-related master data, including vendor and raw material approvals, ensuring safe supplies to Givaudan facilities in and beyond SAMEA.
  • Review agreed specifications with vendors and customers to maintain quality standards.

Your professional profile includes:

  • University/Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or Data Analytics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in both Data Analytics and Quality Assurance is required.
  • Industrial background within food manufacturing-related companies is highly ideal.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Quality and Food Safety policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics (vendors, customers) and management of high volume of datasets.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense, Google Data Studio and/or other data analysis tools would be a strong advantage.
  • Customer-oriented approach , with creativity and ability to drive simplification.
  • Project management skills and Green Belt certification are good-to-haves.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Able to work in Pune, India.
