Responsibilities

  • Quality Management: Develop, implement, and oversee quality management programs and initiatives to ensure high standards of patient care and safety across the hospital.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards (e.g., JCI, NABH), and internal policies by conducting regular audits and inspections.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate clinical and operational performance metrics to assess adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Incident Management: Investigate and analyse incidents, complaints, and adverse events, and develop corrective and preventive action plans to address identified issues.
  • Patient Safety: Implement and monitor patient safety protocols, including infection control measures, to minimize risks and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Training & Development: Design and deliver training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff on quality standards, patient safety, and best practices to ensure consistent application.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of quality-related activities, including audit findings, performance reports, and compliance records.
  • Quality Improvement: Lead and support quality improvement projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care, operational efficiency, and overall hospital performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with medical and administrative staff, department heads, and external bodies to address quality issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze quality data, including patient feedback, clinical outcomes, and performance metrics, to generate reports and provide insights for decision-making.

Qualification

  • A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, preferably with a focus in healthcare management or a related field.

Experience : 3 years or more in healthcare quality or a similar role in a hospital environment.
