Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at KodyPay. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our payment processing platform. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our web application performs optimally and meets the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Automated Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our web application.
• Test Strategy: Create and implement test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and technical specifications.
• Bug Identification: Identify, document, and track defects and issues, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to support frequent releases and deployments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to understand product features, provide feedback, and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports. Ensure all testing activities are properly documented and communicated.
• Tool Development: Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on test results, performance metrics, and other quality indicators.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience in developing automated tests for web applications.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Playwright, JavaScript or similar. Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), test methodologies, and best practices for automated testing.
• Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), version control systems (e.g., Git), and issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
• Problem-solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payment processing systems or financial software.
• Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
