Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze requirement specifications to create comprehensive test cases.
  • Conduct smoke, functional, and regression testing for web and mobile apps.
  • Report bugs in a detailed and reproducible format.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality.
  • Test API-based integrations (e.g., ISO8583, ISO20022).
  • Validate transactions in line with business and financial protocols.
  • Document and communicate testing progress effectively.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Defect Life Cycle
  • Manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory)
  • Fintech domain knowledge (ISO8583, EMV, NFC)
  • POS system testing and workflow validation
  • API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla)
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in fast-paced environments
  • Hands-on experience in payment domains with ISO standards
