Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Functional Tester to join our dynamic team in Navi Mumbai. This is a full-time role within our thriving Oil and Gas sector. The incumbent will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality and performance of our software solutions. A successful candidate will have a strong grounding in statistical analysis and machine learning, alongside experience in programming and data manipulation skills.

Qualifications And Skills

• Proficiency in statistical analysis to assess and ensure software quality and effectiveness.
• Familiarity with machine learning to enhance testing processes and predict potential quality issues.
• Strong skills in Python programming, enabling the creation of automated tests and data analysis scripts.
• Experience in data visualization to convey testing results in a clear and actionable manner.
• Competency in predictive modeling to foresee and mitigate potential software faults before they manifest.
• Understanding of big data principles to efficiently manage and analyze large-scale testing data.
• Knowledge of SQL for effective interaction with databases and data retrieval for testing purposes.
• Ability to perform data mining to extract relevant insights from software test datasets.
  
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop and execute functional test cases, ensuring comprehensive software quality assessment.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionalities and scope of testing.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve the consistency and speed of testing phases.
• Analyze test results, document defects, and ensure correct resolution through retesting.
• Participate in code reviews and provide insights to enhance code quality and prevent future issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain testing environments and configurations for various software applications.
• Monitor production system performance to identify and troubleshoot operational problems promptly.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on testing activities, outcomes, and quality assessments to stakeholders.
