Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer who will be responsible for writing core Python scripts, fine-tuning systems, and continuously improving our existing services. As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and robust system performance. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for optimizing and enhancing existing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Python Development:
• Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable Python code.
• Develop core scripts that integrate with various systems, automating complex tasks and workflows.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the system.
• System Fine-Tuning & Optimization:
• Analyze, debug, and fine-tune system performance to meet scalability and efficiency targets.
• Optimize services and algorithms for faster processing, minimizing resource usage while maximizing output.
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to implement enhancements that improve infrastructure reliability.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Review and improvise existing services, identifying areas for enhancement and performance boosts.
• Introduce new technologies, tools, or frameworks where appropriate to ensure the tech stack stays cutting-edge.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and establish best practices for Python development.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and QA teams.
• Provide technical expertise to team members, helping to resolve complex issues and challenges.
• Document code, processes, and system configurations to ensure transparency and maintainability.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Proven experience in writing core Python scripts for system automation, integration, and performance tuning.
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in Python (3.x).
• Experience with performance optimization techniques in Python.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and multithreading.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Version control using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Third party Api integration
• Exposure to Web Scraping
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve bottlenecks in systems.
• Experience working in agile environments, with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle complex challenges.
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with machine learning frameworks or data engineering is a plus.
• Knowledge of Flask/Django or other Python-based frameworks.
• Exposure to event-driven architecture and message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
